Our Mission
The University of Minnesota Men’s Volleyball Club provides an opportunity for male students to play competitive, organized intercollegiate volleyball in the local, B1G, Midwest regional, and national circuits.
Currently, the club offers two levels of play. The NVC team allows players that are still developing the opportunity to participate in intercollegiate tournaments with teams across the Midwest. The B1G team, which is comprised of the top players at the school, competes in collegiate club tournaments throughout the country, including a full B1G schedule. Our complete competition schedule can be found under the 'tournaments' tab.
Practices are held 2 nights per week during the fall and spring semesters. During practice, club members will learn the fundamentals of organized volleyball, with special attention paid to the specific skills necessary for a player's designated position. These practices are held at 8:45 PM on Mondays and 6:45 PM on Wednesdays in the Maturi Pavilion.
Over the past several years, the University of Minnesota Men’s Volleyball Club has established itself as one of the top teams in the country! We hope to continue developing and exceeding expectations at the national level.
